The Round table on Safe Job Seeking Skills was conducted on 26-27 March, 2014 in Minsk. The event was focused on the exchanging of best practices and experience in conducting trainings on effective job search among trainers from different regions. Also, recommendations on improvement of materials for new trainings were worked out. In order to make proper amendments to the existing materials new tendencies at the labor market of the Republic of Belarus were identified. Alumni presented their stories of success based on their previous participation in the Programme run in the previous phases of the Project. Since 2005 IOM together with its partners has been implementing USAID funded project aimed at countering Trafficking in Persons. The project included a number of various events and activities targeting the victims of trafficking in Belarus and vulnerable groups. Safe Job Seeking Skills trainings were among those activities and showed to be very effective in terms of further employment of the participants. The current stage of the project continues to implement a job seeking skills training program for vulnerable groups of people and VoTs.
