At the end of 2015 year IOM Minsk Mission has published a handbook “Direct Assistance for Victims of Trafficking” for specialists of governmental and non-governmental organizations who deal with victims of human trafficking. This handbook contains examples of the best international practice, in particular guidelines and recommendations on all issues of provision of effective reintegration assistance, starting from the first contact with a victim and ending up with integration and inclusion of such people into the society.
The handbook is one more component of national referral mechanism improvement process. The handbook unifies all guidelines and recommendations and is universal for both specialists from governmental agencies and civil society.
The handbook was published in amount of 600 items that will be delivered to the above-mentioned specialists, working in the counter-trafficking area in all regions in Belarus.
