Training for law-enforcement practitioners of Belarus, Ukraine and Moldova
On 25 February – 1 March 2013 the MoI of the Republic of Belarus and IOM Minsk are holding training for LE practitioners of Belarus, Ukraine and Moldova at the International Training Center for Migration and Combating Trafficking in Human Beings. This time special emphasis is made on combating child pornography on the internet. The group comprising of 25 operational-investigative officers of the interior ministries will be trained over the period of 5-days’ at the premises of the MoI Academy.
It is the 17th training organized since July 2007 and it is very unique as two highly qualified international experts from the UK have been invited to deliver the course on the Child Protection System. The experts have 30 years experience each of working in Scotland Yard in the specialised units to combat THB and child pornography. They are top ranked experts in the UK and Europe entitled to train police officers on high-tech crimes and the Child Protection System. The soft requires personal user license and special education. The programme uses IP-address to trace suspects who disseminate visuals with child pornography including computer networks.
The training is conducted with the support of the Royal Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
