Training for law-enforcement practitioners of Belarus
On 19-20 of March, 2013 the MoI of the Republic of Belarus and IOM Minsk were holding training for LE practitioners of Belarus under the topic «Paperwork peculiarities in registration of human trafficking and child pornography cases and relevant crimes» at the International Training Centre for Migration and Combating Trafficking in Human Beings (ITC).
The training was intended for officers of Ministry of Interior, General prosecutor’s office, Investigation Committee, Republican Expert Committee on prevention of promotion pornography, violence and abuse. The training was conducted under support of the Royal Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Among topics presented at the training were: ensuring safety of participants of criminal proceedings in criminal cases related to human trafficking; locations identifying practice of studios of production, reproduction and distribution of pornographic products; the mechanism of identification and referral of VoTs by law enforcement; evidences documenting of child pornography on the Internet; cooperation with law enforcement agencies of foreign countries in combating child pornography; identification of the victims of child pornography, peculiarities of contacting and interviewing.
