Training for Law Enforcement Practitioners of Belarus, Ukraine and Moldova
From 17th to 21st of March, 2014 the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Belarus and IOM Minsk were holding training for LE practitioners of Belarus, Ukraine and Moldova at the International Training Centre for Migration and Combating Trafficking in Human Beings (ITC). This time special emphasis was made on combating child pornography on the internet. 25 operational-investigative officers of the interior ministries were invited to participate in the training. The delegates were trained over the period of 5-days’ at the premises of the MoI Academy. The training was conducted under support of the Royal Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Two highly qualified international experts from the UK delivered the course.
The participants discussed managing and interviewing child victims of sexual abuse practices, international cooperation in this field, the experience of the participating countries were analysed and the recommendations were worked out.
