Training for Law Enforcement Practitioners of Belarus on Combating Child Pornography in the Internet
From 10th of March to 13th of March, 2014 the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Belarus and IOM Minsk were holding training for LE practitioners of Belarus at the International Training Centre for Migration and Combating Trafficking in Human Beings (ITC). Special emphasis was made on combating child pornography on the internet. The group comprising of 19 operational-investigative officers of the interior ministries was trained over the period of 3-days’ at the premises of the MoI Academy. The training was conducted under support of the Royal Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
It is the 19th training organized since July 2007. Two highly qualified international experts from the UK deliver the course on the Child Protection System. Upon completion of the training the participants received personal license in order to have access to the Child Protection System which operates in many countries, including USA, Canada, Australia, UK and others.
