Under support of USAID IOM Minsk has started conducting lectures dedicated to the issue of combating human trafficking. The activity is carried out within the framework of the information campaign component of the international technical assistance project “Strengthening the National Capacity of the Republic of Belarus in the Sphere of Combatting Trafficking in Human Beings”. Lectures will be delivered by NGO partners at state employment agencies, higher and secondary educational establishments and other agencies and organizations in all regions of the Republic of Belarus. The lectures are aimed at representatives of the risk group. It is expected that the lectures will inform the target audience on human-trafficking and related issues, recommendations for safe travel, employment and stay abroad as well as on relevant foreign government regulations and practices, public hotlines in Belarus and abroad.
